About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our team at Orion Electrotech. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of PLC software, from initial concept through to commissioning and production.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and test PLC/SCADA/HMI applications to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Set up and commission control panels, I/O drives, and other systems to meet customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with customers to create a Functional Design Specification (FDS) that accurately defines system requirements.
  • Support Project Managers in planning and monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct on-site commissioning activities for large-scale automotive robotic production lines to ensure smooth operation.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing control systems with Rockwell and Siemens products.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed to meet customer needs.
  • Electrical design knowledge, preferably with E-Plan experience.
  • Hands-on experience with DCP software standards.
