Sales Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Account Manager to join our Inhouse Sales team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with smaller accounts in the UK and Ireland, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and nurture strong relationships with field accounts by understanding their business requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving problems.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Bring in new clients to achieve overall sales targets and support company growth.
- Collaborate closely with technical, marketing, and product teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Keep precise records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account statuses using CRM software.
- Generate regular reports on account performance and sales forecasts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Approximately 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or a similar role, ideally in the technology, manufacturing, packaging, vacuum, industrial or precision industry.
- Having a foundational technical knowledge in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, and Vacuum technology is an advantage.
- Completion of a commercial or technical apprenticeship or a hold a degree preferably in STEM / engineering or the sciences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of establishing strong relationships with clients.
- Independent and self-motivated, with the ability to work without supervision.
