SEN Teaching Assistant Role

Step Teachers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in schools across Lowestoft. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and contributing to their educational journey.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification, with placements as part of their course. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met effectively.
- Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Salary: £26-£31 per hour
