Job Summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Cardiology. As an ANP, you will be responsible for the advanced nursing management of patients with heart failure, including those requiring pacemaker and direct current cardioversion (DCCV) procedures. You will work autonomously, utilizing high-level clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete clinical care for patients with heart failure, utilizing advanced knowledge and skills to ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the In-Reach Heart Failure service, providing advanced nursing management and support to patients out with Ward 6C and early supported discharge clinics.
  • Work collaboratively with a wide multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Utilize excellent communication and organizational skills to manage complex patient cases.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse on the NMC register.
  • Appropriate Masters-level qualification in Advanced Practice.
  • Experience in an acute/cardiology setting.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wide multi-disciplinary team.
