Job Description

At Jackson Hogg Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our business operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer queries and specification requests related to UK customers for products produced in the UK or sourced from international entities.
  • Ensure that food labeling and regulatory checks are completed for all UK and EU products.
  • Act as a technical representative at project meetings, communicating key details back to the wider team.
  • Update the project tracker with relevant project details, including specification, artwork timing, and other important information.
  • Oversee the specification generation process from receiving the Product Information Sheet (PIS/PIP) at the industrialization stage of a project through to specification approval.
  • Manage the tracking and spending of specification and cost of doing business budgets.
  • Manage UK customer KPI data.
  • Ensure technical artwork approval for UK-produced products and oversee approval for international products.
  • Manage, train, and develop the Compliance Team.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Degree or HND in Food Technology or equivalent.
  • Level 3 Food Safety certification.
  • Level 3 HACCP certification.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft packages), SharePoint.
  • Experience in a managerial role in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in managing a specification process within the food industry.
  • Experience in a UK retailer supplier food manufacturing environment.
  • UK and EU food labeling experience.
