About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EHR Data Migration Specialist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our digital transformation initiative, you will play a crucial role in implementing our Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend data migration requirements and objectives.
  • Develop and execute data migration strategies to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from legacy systems into the target LIMS platform.
  • Perform data cleansing, normalisation, and validation to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Create documentation, including data mapping documents, migration plans, and validation protocols.
  • Conduct testing and validation of migrated data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during the migration process.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and optimise performance of the LIMS platform.
Requirements
  • Digital pathology experience within histology and cytology.
  • Detailed and comprehensive understanding of blood bank laboratory and process workflows.
  • Experience in healthcare technologies (e.g. LIMS, LIS, Digital Pathology, MEDITECH)
  • Understanding and management of HL7 interfaces
  • Experience planning and implementing organisational systems integrations
