Job Description

Voyage Care seeks an experienced Service Manager to lead our residential service in Coventry. As a dynamic and caring leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact on people's lives. You will work closely with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure that individuals gain more independence and have positive outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the service(s)
  • Develop and implement person-centred support plans
  • Conduct care needs assessments
  • Recruit and induct new colleagues
  • Complete supervisions/appraisals, medication competencies, and audits

You will be responsible for ensuring regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met, including notifications and adherence to policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Prior experience as a CQC registered manager or in a care management role
  • Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration
  • Level 5 in Health & Social Care qualification
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviours

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
