Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant

Job Summary: Accountancy Action is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, setting up payment runs, and assisting with other areas within the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase invoices and ensure timely payment
  • Set up payment runs and manage payment schedules
  • Assist with invoice reconciliations and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare CIS returns and manage related documentation
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a finance or accounting role
  • CIS experience and knowledge of Sage 200 is beneficial
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
