About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Development Manager to join our team at Samsung SDS Europe. As a key member of our Management MSP team, you will play a crucial role in selling and delivering projects to our clients across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of business development, project management, and technical specialists to achieve departmental objectives and financial goals
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our client base
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Samsung Electronics in Europe, project partners, and SDS HQ, to deliver projects and meet client requirements
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the client base and maintain relationships with multiple decision makers
  • Provide strategic account management to help customers achieve their objectives through our IT projects
  • Work with product management in SDS HQ to define product and service offerings that meet customers' needs
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, preferably in the IT industry
  • Proven leadership skills to manage a team of members from various backgrounds, culture, and skillset
  • Strong problem-solving skills with solution proposal skills
  • A proven negotiator and influencer at all levels with ability to drive decision-making across multiple functions and organizational areas
  • Strong analytical foundation with ability to think through complex deal structures with multiple variables
  • Strong project IT management skills with ability to organize project work effectively
  • Experienced in requirements gathering and proposal write-ups
  • Proactive, independent, and responsible attitude
  • Strong teamwork skills and an engaging and confident professional demeanor
  • Clear oral and written communication skills with ability to present complex value propositions to client's senior executives
  • Knowledge of MS Office Tools (Visio, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Desirable Skills:
  • Experienced in delivering multiple IT projects
  • In-depth knowledge of Samsung processes in all business areas
  • Good knowledge of ERP, CRM, e-commerce, RPA, BI, Data, AI
  • Project management certificate
  • Experience of software development tools, such as Jira and Confluence
Working Arrangements:
  • 37.5 hour week, 5 days in SDSE Weybridge Office
  • Some weekend and evening work may be required for emergencies and projects
