Job Summary

As a Strategic Learning Manager at Goldman Sachs, you will play a critical role in shaping the firm's overall learning strategy. This involves building trusted relationships with Human Capital Management colleagues to understand and prioritize evolving development needs across businesses and regions. You will design, develop, and deliver strategic, innovative, and practical learning interventions and solutions that address business needs in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's learning strategy, aligning with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with HCM colleagues to identify and prioritize learning needs, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the firm's evolving requirements.
  • Design and deliver learning programs that are engaging, effective, and aligned with business objectives, leveraging industry best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, ensuring the firm remains at the forefront of learning and development strategies.
  • Partner with global and regional colleagues to design, deliver, and measure the impact of firm-wide learning programs, ensuring they meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Take a hands-on approach to project management, overseeing and managing junior colleagues within the learning and development team.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of working experience, with 3-5 years in a learning and development role.
  • Experience working with and developing programming for high-potential leaders and managers.
  • Organizational psychology background desirable.
  • Ability to teach a variety of leadership topics.
  • Excellent project management and execution skills, with strong detail orientation and analytical skills.
  • Experience in overseeing multifaceted initiatives and working on a global team.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose problems and develop innovative approaches to deliver learning solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in formal and informal presentation and facilitation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial orientation and good understanding of the firm's business.
  • A strong growth mindset and consistent focus on self-improvement.
