Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered General Nurse to join our Theatre Department at Ashtead Hospital. As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgical teams and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre environment
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operating theatre workflow
  • Participate in the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within all specialities
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
