Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered General Nurse to join our Theatre Department at Ashtead Hospital. As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgical teams and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre environment
- Provide high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operating theatre workflow
- Participate in the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Surgical scrub experience within all specialities
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate and empathetic character
