As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload of children and families, providing high-quality social work services, and supporting the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of children and families, providing assessment, planning, and intervention services.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support the needs of children and families, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior team members, promoting their professional development and growth.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare providers, education specialists, and community organizations, to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and best practices within the Children's Referral and Assessment Team.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a children's services setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
