Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our client, a global manufacturer of generators. Based in Larne, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement and the opportunity to progress in the field of Electrical Design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new products and components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance control systems
  • Design of controls, motors, and related equipment
  • Collaborate with different facilities to support production
  • Ensure design compliance with industry standards and customer specifications
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the electrical design process

Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar
  • Experienced in Electrical Design/Control System Design
  • Experience in relevant design Software packages like Creo/AutoCAD/EPlan
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proactive approach towards challenges and problem-solving
