Multidisciplinary Engineer

Job Opportunity: We are seeking a talented and motivated Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe.

Job Summary: As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support across our site, including the Abattoir, Butchery, and Packing Departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment
• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment efficiency
• Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure smooth operations
• Accurately record maintenance work using our computerised maintenance system

Requirements:

• Recognised qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with food processing and packaging equipment is an advantage
