Job Title: Asset Manager

City Property (Glasgow) LLP is seeking a highly skilled Asset Manager to join our team. As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for managing the existing investment portfolio and identifying opportunities for inclusion within the Revenue and Capital plan(s).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the investment portfolio using specialist professional knowledge and experience of commercial buildings and construction.
  • Work closely with the Projects Team Manager to identify investment opportunities.
  • Manage a team of professional and technical staff, including identifying development needs and providing support on professional and technical matters.
  • Manage and undertake stock condition surveys, producing a planned preventative maintenance programme.
  • Support the delivery of energy and sustainability initiatives and prepare options appraisals.
  • Deputise for the Building Services and Projects Manager.
  • Prepare and deliver credible, accurate and timely reports providing professional advice and recommendations to the Board, GCC, funder and other statutory deadlines.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, identifying solutions and supporting the team and stakeholders through change.
  • Ensure compliance with Statutory requirements such as CDM duties, HASWA, DDA, Asbestos and Legionella.
  • Represent City Property LLP internally and externally as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety and risk management procedures are understood and adhered to.

  • Specialist professional knowledge and experience of commercial buildings and construction.
  • Ability to manage a team of professional and technical staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
