About the Role:
Creative Alliance is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audio-Visual & Live Event Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and setting up technical equipment for events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up audio, lighting, and video equipment for events, ensuring all necessary components are present and in good working condition.
- Highlight any issues with missing equipment to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Scan in and out equipment accurately, updating our online systems as necessary.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix AV systems before, during, and after events.
- Pack and load equipment efficiently, adhering to transportation guidelines.
- Test, repair, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work on-site to set up equipment efficiently, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly.
- Develop strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in bespoke software used within the business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders, including project managers, warehouse staff, and clients.
- Adhere to company Health & Safety policies and requirements in the warehouse and on-site.
Requirements:
- GCSE Grade 4/C in both Maths and English
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, customer care skills, problem-solving skills, and team working abilities.
Training and Development:
Creative Alliance offers a comprehensive training program, including the Creative Production Technician – Live Event Technician Pathway (LET), Level 3. This program will equip you with the skills and knowledge to excel in your role and advance your career in the live event industry.
