Responsibilities- Lead a team of senior Finance colleagues in creating a centre of excellence for commercial modeling.
- Collaborate with Finance Business Partners in delivering Retail Income, Underwriting and expense budgeting and forecasting, managing the business to deliver outputs to Finance and overseeing financial modelling outputs.
- Set strategic direction with Commercial and Underwriting teams across financial key deliverables and oversee expense budgeting/forecasting for assigned business areas.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Executive and Leadership teams, ensuring Finance engagement in key Commercial decisions and produce rich and insightful reports.
- Create next-generation financial forecasting models, working with technology and data to deliver regularly updated models, overseeing all aspects of financial model creation and refinement.
- BUILD deep stakeholder relationships with executive and direct reports, ability to work across all levels, from operational to strategic outcomes. Ensure ability to effectively challenge and drive performance.
- Set direction of the team and ensure adequate resources are deployed effectively, leading/developing direct reports in order to deliver high-quality service to the business.
- Experience in delivery roles within Financial Modelling teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to articulate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven analytical skills with excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Financial planning and budgetary experience.
- Salary – £80,000 + car allowance (annual pay reviews included).
