We are seeking a highly skilled Surveyor to join our team at Michael Page Property & Construction. As an Interim Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in the Public Sector, specifically in the Construction and Housing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contractor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Update and maintain systems to ensure efficient project delivery
- Conduct detailed site surveys and measurements to inform project planning
- Prepare and present plans, diagrams, and schedules to stakeholders
- Assist with the preparation of tender and contract documents
- Liaise with construction teams and other professionals to ensure project success
- Monitor construction progress and quality standards to ensure compliance
- Manage project budgets and cost control processes to optimize financial performance
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on surveying principles and best practices
Requirements
- Strong IT skills and experience with surveying software
- Experience in Voids and Day to Day surveying
- Experience in contractor management and relationship building
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software
- Familiarity with construction legislation and standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
