Delivery Driver Job Description

Gi Group is partnering with a leading parcel delivery company to offer an exciting opportunity for a self-employed delivery driver. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering parcels to multiple locations within your assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a van and deliver parcels to assigned locations.
  • Load vans and deliver packages safely.
  • Use GPS system to make deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Full UK or EU driving license (held for at least 1 year).
  • Must be 19+ years old for insurance purposes.
  • A maximum of 6 points on your license (no IN, DR, DG, or TT codes).
  • Willingness to complete a DBS check and drug/alcohol test.
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to work independently.
  • Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 25 kgs).

Pay and Benefits:

Competitive pay rate: £108 - £126 per day.

VAN, INSURANCE & FUEL PROVIDED.

Performance Incentive Bonus.

Full training provided: 2-day introduction, 2 days out with a lead driver, and built-in training to a total of 12 days.
