Lead Our Drainage Infrastructure Team

We are seeking a talented and experienced Drainage Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading the delivery of Civil Engineering design on a range of challenging projects across the infrastructure sector, with a focus on Sustainable Urban Drainage and conventional surface water drainage design.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surface and foul water design and/or construction, with experience in managing teams and prioritizing tasks to ensure effective client delivery. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in surface and foul water design and/or construction
  • Awareness of National Planning Policy and Infrastructure design requirements relating to flood risk management
  • Ability to manage a team and provide technical support and resource planning
  • Ability to work using own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Civil Engineering degree – Preferably a Masters
  • Have or be close to completion of Professional Qualification with the Institution of Civil Engineers or Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management
  • Adept at 3D design and modelling using software such as MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and Autodesk ICM
