About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Power Systems Engineer to join our team at NRL. As a Lead Power Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering power systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver power systems
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet expectations

Requirements:

  • Essential:
  • Strong background in electrical engineering
  • Experience in power systems and LV design
  • Knowledge of BS EN 61439-2, BS EN 60947, and BS 7671 standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation
  • Preferred:
  • Familiarity with industrial power systems, control techniques, and PLCs
  • HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (BEng a plus)
