About Our Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nursery Manager to join our dedicated team at Busy Bees Battersea Day Nursery & pre-school. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of our nurturing setting, which has been rated GOOD by Ofsted.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the nursery SENCO and take on additional roles such as Health and Safety and Childcare and Quality representative.
  • Ensure every individual child's needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs.
  • Establish strong relationships with parents and guardians, ensuring effective communication.
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in ensuring that all complaints and concerns are actively resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support, supervise, train, and appraise all staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.
  • Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a salary of £30 to 31k per annum dependant on experience plus a range of benefits, including 28 days holiday per year, Health & Wellbeing Apps, and Compassionate leave and support.
