About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our highly specialist team in one of only fifteen Sarcoma units in the country. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work closely with the Band 7 Specialist Sarcoma Physiotherapist and be part of a community of highly ambitious therapists looking to develop sarcoma rehabilitation nationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with sarcoma.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the individual needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to research and development initiatives to improve sarcoma rehabilitation.
Person Specification
  • BSc Hons (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.
  • Broad-based junior experience with an acute in-patient focus.
  • Possession of knowledge specific to Sarcoma.
  • Ability to communicate complex information both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to assess, formulate a diagnosis, and plan patient management using clinical reasoning skills and a range of treatment options.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Evidence of manual therapy skills.
