Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Adult Mental Health Professional to join their team in Kensington & Chelsea. As an Approved Mental Health Practitioner, you will work full-time in the Duty Service, carrying out Mental Health Act Assessments and providing a strong social work and social care perspective to the team.
The salary for this permanent position is up to £53,088 per annum.
- Carry out Mental Health Act Assessments as an autonomous practitioner and consider the least restrictive options.
- Complete assessment and recommendation paperwork in accordance with the Mental Health Act and upload to the patient record.
- Provide a social care expert perspective to the team and act as a specialist in Mental Health Act legislation.
- Maintain AMHP warranting requirements, including continuing professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and case law, including The Care Act 2014.
- Participate in the rota system and respond to emergency situations when required.
- Ensure personal and professional development as an AMHP and maintain the AMHP warrant for the borough.
- Work positively as a member of the team with Social Services and other agencies.
- Investigate complaints as directed and identify safeguarding issues.
Requirements:
- A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
