Job Description
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor with Intersect Global Ltd, you will play a critical role in the delivery of clean and waste water projects across Kent, Sussex, and Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have experience working on NEC contracts and a strong understanding of value engineering, cost forecasting, and client management. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading contractor in the sector, with a significant work bank on the AMP8 framework.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior QS will be responsible for managing a programme of works upgrading and renewing clean water assets, reducing environmental pollution into rivers and the sea. Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out Value Engineering
* Cost Forecasting
* Sub-contract procurement including drafting of complex subcontract arrangements
* Change Management
* Ensure appropriate Client Management is initiated and maintained
* Maintain/assist in the production of margin improvement plans on the project
* Assist in work winning duties as required, including technical writing for PQQ responses
* Maximising of cash flow production WIP management & improvement plans
* Agreeing final accounts

What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a hybrid working role, with 1-2 days per week expected in the office. You will also have the opportunity to progress to Managing Quantity Surveyor within two years. Our commercial team of eight provides a supportive and collaborative environment, and we are committed to equality and diversity in the workplace.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying level and have a stable career history working at Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS level on civil engineering, infrastructure, or utility projects in the UK. You will be well versed in NEC contracts and looking to progress your career with a highly respected industry leader.
