Network and Telecommunications Specialist

The Telecommunications and Network team is responsible for the maintenance, health, capacity, performance, and uptime availability of the organization's network and telephony estate. With over 200 sites, the team ensures the smooth operation of the Mitel system controllers and associated services hosted in two physical data rooms in Nottinghamshire.
Main Responsibilities- Project manage small projects or defined parts of larger projects at a technical level and manage small technical teams on these projects.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve main system IT problems and liaise with supplier companies as required.
- Carry out regular maintenance activities, such as patching or system upgrades across a wide portfolio of systems.
- Creation of system-specific documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures, Change Control Requests as required.
- Provide advice and technical support to IT colleagues when circumstances necessitate.
- Be a member of the on-call support team to provide 24x7 technical support cover on a rotational basis.
- Ensure the Network and Telecommunications estate is compliant with any Cyber Security requirements and audits defined by our partners, customers, or the NHS.
