About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Counter Fraud team as a Litigation Executive. The successful candidate will have recently graduated with a law degree or completed a relevant course and be looking to start their career in the legal sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills and knowledge in a niche area of law, working closely with experienced Fee Earners and having the potential to run their own caseload in the future.

  • Undertake direct communication with third parties on the telephone in a professional and effective manner
  • Update information into the case management system as requested
  • Provide first-line support for client queries
  • Draft court documents and applications
  • Attend hearings/trials
  • Take client statements and review medical records
  • To comply with all litigation dates, SLAs and DPA/GDPR
  • Ensure that all cases are dealt with in compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules and Law Society Practice Management Standards
  • Ensure effective case management and the production of high-quality work on own files and any other files where assistance or cover is provided
  • Undergo regular supervision with your line manager along with our open communication policy, receiving day-to-day support in handling your varied and busy caseload
  • Manage your time effectively
  • Complete MI in line with client SLA's
  • Meet the billing targets set by department
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Partnership as requested
  • Assist with the efficient running of the office generally
