Join our team as a Women's Advocacy Specialist and play a key role in promoting equality and challenging discrimination in Tower Hamlets. You will work closely with the Mayor and Cabinet Members to develop and implement initiatives, projects, and work programmes that promote equality and challenge inequality.

You will have a strong understanding of the issues affecting women and equalities groups, as well as experience of engaging with and working in communities. Your role will involve providing advice and guidance to the Mayor and Cabinet Members on policy developments, good practice, and other matters relevant to women and equalities groups.

  1. Main Responsibilities:
  2. Developing and implementing initiatives, projects, and work programmes to promote equality and challenge inequality.
  3. Providing expert advice and guidance to the Mayor and Cabinet Members on equality and diversity issues.
  4. Maintaining relationships with community groups, faith groups, and other relevant organisations to stay up-to-date with issues affecting women and equalities groups.

The estimated salary for this role is around £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.
