We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our projects through the entire lifecycle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating works, ensuring compliance with CDM checklist requirements, and managing self-delivered work and subcontracted packages.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate works with the Construction Project Manager to ensure smooth project execution.
- Implement CDM checklist requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage self-delivered work and subcontracted packages to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct inductions and HSEQ inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Draft and issue RAMS and permits to ensure site safety.
- Adapt generic ITPs to site-specific permanent works and collate evidence for closure.
- Submit material and labour requisitions, as well as hire and off-hire plant.
- Maintain a site diary of compensation events and report any deviations from the cost forecast or scope of works.
- Experience working with a DNO such as SSEN and understanding of substation projects and NEC3 contracts.
- Experience in a similar role, with Streetworks (NRSWA) Supervisor, SSSTS/SMSTS accreditations, and a health and safety qualification such as IOSH.
- A full and valid driving license is essential for travel between sites.
