Industrial Operations Manager

C coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance resources to deliver excellence in plant reliability in the designated area of the plant while meeting safety, health, environmental, and financial targets.
Key responsibilities include enforcing safe operations and maintaining environmental compliance. You will also supervise and coordinate the mechanical maintenance plan, collaborate with the planning department to ensure suitable parts, labor, and equipment are available to deliver the maintenance plan, and ensure inspection results and actions are taken to deliver reliability targets.
In addition, you will manage the section mechanical team concerning productivity, motivation, and discipline. This involves monitoring performance of staff and contractors to ensure jobs proceed as planned and supervising the carrying out of preventative maintenance inspections.
- Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage.
- Two years of experience as a Mechanical Coordinator, Maintenance Team Leader, or Deputy Graduate Engineer in a cement plant is necessary.
