About the Role

Gillespie Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Forklift Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing repair and maintenance of Electric, LPG and Diesel forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out effective preventative maintenance to minimise unplanned breakdowns.
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems efficiently and effectively.
  • Using Laptop and PDA to identify parts required and communicate requirements to the office team.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Forklift Field Service Engineer who is a time served tradesperson in the engineering sector with minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualifications. You should be skilled in mechanical and/or electrical engineering and have the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships to provide excellent customer care. A full UK driving License is also required.
