Job Description:

This is a business analyst position that involves working with clients and product teams to understand new functional requirements for the platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving the product for existing and future clients, taking into account changes in the regulatory landscape.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with client and product teams to gather information on new functional requirements and work with technology teams to implement.
  • Test new functionality before it's released to clients – running system tests, quality assurance tests, and data integrity testing to ensure the robustness of software functional releases and code fixes.
  • Enhance and maintain all aspects of the business-as-usual delivery of the platform to clients.
  • Work with leading-edge front and back-end technology platforms, such as AWS.
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE BUSINESS TO PLAN AND MANAGE THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SAAS PRODUCT TO MEET A DYNAMIC CHANGE AGENDA.
  • Work directly with executive leaders across the firm.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Owning change initiatives and development areas within the team and having end-to-end responsibility for it - researching, analyzing, building propositions, developing business and functional specifications, working with technology and client relationship teams to deliver into production and demonstrate to clients.
  • Maintaining a detailed working knowledge of the marketplace in which the firm operates and working with clients to help address the issues they face.
  • Strategizing with the firm's consulting and advisory function to support client-facing activities – for example, assisting with the production of sales pitch documents and involvement in the tender process.
  • Supporting other teams in the business, for example, working with marketing and media teams to help produce and publish thought-leadership articles across various mediums; web, video, social media, etc.
Requirements:

The business is looking for candidates with a business analysis or product background, gained in a capital markets-focused consultancy or directly with a bank, clearing house, or financial market infrastructure provider.

Absolutely essential is experience with trade and transaction reporting regulations, derivatives operations, and technical business analysis and/or product development experience.

Benefits:

This role offers a salary of £40,000 to £70,000, dependent on experience, along with prosperous company benefits.
