Job Title: Apprentice Cost Consultant

A leading chiller specialist in service and maintenance is seeking an experienced estimator to produce successful tenders and accurate estimations for remedial work projects on AC systems within large retail outlets, offices, hospitals, and labs in London and the Home Counties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reading and understanding specifications to ensure accurate estimations.
  • Preparing and issuing supplier enquiry packages to facilitate smooth communication.
  • Preparing tender cost reports to provide clients with detailed information.
  • Estimating on AC remedial works worth up to £150,000 to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Attending site visits to establish the scope of work and specific requirements on remedial projects.
Requirements:
  • Experience in estimating on HVAC mechanical installations to ensure expertise.
  • Experience in estimating on full AC systems, with liquid cooled chiller experience being advantageous.
  • Living in commuting distance to Wimbledon to ensure ease of travel.
  • Good knowledge of AC/chiller product knowledge to provide accurate estimations.
  • A mechanical engineering qualification or building services qualification is preferred to ensure technical expertise.
