About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team as Senior Legal Counsel. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's legal framework and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the intricate legal landscape within the finance and tech sectors, with a strong track record of navigating complex compliance and regulatory issues. You will be responsible for providing strategic legal guidance to support the company's rapid growth, while ensuring that all operations and business transactions are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all legal aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide strategic legal guidance to support the company's rapid growth
  • Navigate complex compliance and regulatory issues
  • Liaise with the company's panel of external lawyers
  • Cover a range of legal and compliance responsibilities, including commercial contracts, compliance, corporate governance, financing, GDPR, employment, and visa/immigration work
Requirements
  • 5-9 years of post-qualification experience with a Tier 1 law firm
  • Willingness to work in a demanding, entrepreneurial environment with a positive working attitude
