About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our electronics manufacturing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing engineering changes and coordinating the engineering aspects of customer New Product Introductions (NPIs) within the business.

Job Description:

  • Manage and track engineering changes across teams.
  • Lead engineering projects for customers, ensuring project plans are in place and procedures are followed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Capture and detail necessary requirements for customer NPIs.
  • Implement LEAN processes and commercial interaction to drive higher margins.
  • Report progress and escalate issues within engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Verify design and product compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
  • Liaise with the bids team on cost submissions and collation of details.
  • Mentor junior employees on product launch processes.

Requirements: We are looking for someone with proven experience in project engineering, preferably within the electronics manufacturing industry. You should have strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
