Job Opportunity for an Experienced SEND Teacher

Horizon Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher to join an inclusive Primary school in Harrow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children who have PMLD and complex needs, and be able to build trusting relationships with students and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students with complex learning difficulties.
  • Communicate effectively with children who have severe learning difficulties, using strategies to promote understanding and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Plan and organize activities that cater to the individual needs of students, promoting learning through unconventional means.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in teaching students with severe learning difficulties and complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with support staff and other professionals.
  • Passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
