Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lecturer in Health Economics and Data Science to join our team at the School of Health & Wellbeing. The successful candidate will contribute to research, teaching, and curriculum development within the School, working closely with Professor Peter MacPherson and Professor Emma McIntosh.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research within the School, including the formulation and submission of research publications, policy briefs, and research proposals.
  • Manage and direct research projects in collaboration with partner organisations.
  • Contribute to teaching, learning, and curriculum development within the School.
  • Work with international research partners and contribute to academic life within the School.
About the School

The School of Health & Wellbeing aims to prevent disease, improve health and wellbeing, and reduce inequalities on a local and global scale. We have strong links with associate Social Scientists in Health academics based in the School of Social and Political Sciences and elsewhere in the University of Glasgow.

We are committed to the principles of equality and diversity and have won a coveted Athena Swan Gold Award. Our research spans three research themes and is delivered across six research groups, with external collaborators including academics, governments, and the NHS.

Requirements
  • PhD in a related discipline with an extensive and established reputation in research.
  • Significant teaching experience within the discipline/subject area.
