Multi Skilled Maintenance Role

Shift: 12 hour days/nights

The Engineering and Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a global food business based in Wirral.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for a mix of reactive and planned preventive maintenance work, alongside continuous improvements and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical and mechanical diagnostic/fault finding techniques on automated food manufacturing machinery
  • Awareness of Production OEE's and strive to make improvements to the OEE's
  • Routine maintenance and monitoring of production machinery, ensuring all tasks are carried out and/or recorded in accordance with company policies
  • Participate in projects as and when required
  • Apprentice trained or equivalent to level 3 (mechanical or electrical)

Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained or equivalent to level 3 (mechanical or electrical)
  • Working in a multi-skilled capacity
  • Ideal candidate from a fast-paced manufacturing background such as food/FMCG, although other engineering backgrounds will be considered
  • Experienced working on continuous improvement projects
