We are seeking a skilled and motivated Class 1 Driver to join our client in Normanton. The ideal candidate will have experience in general haulage and tramping, with a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, and Tacho card.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Perform tramping duties with overnight stays as required.
  • Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
Pay and Benefits:

Pay rates include:

  • £18.21/h (days)
  • £20.00/h (nights)
  • £20.45/h (Saturdays)
  • £22.13/h (Sundays)
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, and Tacho card.
  • Experience in general haulage and tramping.
  • A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
