Your Role

As an Insurance Portfolio Optimisation Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring the performance of our portfolio and individual agreements. You will work closely with our Digital Underwriting teams to optimise the portfolio, making recommendations around aggregate optimisation, eligibility rule changes, and market pricing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor portfolio performance and individual agreements
  • Collaborate with Digital Underwriting teams to optimise the portfolio
  • Make recommendations on aggregate optimisation, eligibility rule changes, and market pricing
  • Assist with underwriting, onboarding, and integration of new agreements and relationships
  • Maintain Digital Underwriting guidelines and documentation
  • Support Underwriters throughout the annual planning process
  • Client-facing responsibilities, including responding to underwriting, accounting, and technical queries from customers
  • Diary management and preparation of meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with Underwriting Reviews as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in underwriting or assisting with US property insurance or reinsurance
  • Good team player with ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Self-starter with real-time decision-making confidence
  • Basic understanding of standard insurance terminology, coverages, and metrics
  • MS Excel skills essential
