Do you want to be part of a digital transformation that's changing the face of manufacturing? We're looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help us build innovative software solutions that make a real impact.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in defining and developing core technologies that make up our manufacturing products. You'll work closely with our Scrum team to design, develop, and deliver complex features and new subsystems, using C++ and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

  • Implement prototypes and software components using C++ and TypeScript
  • Collaborate with teams of excellent engineers to design and develop, refactor, test, deliver, and maintain complex features and new subsystems
  • Work with the product owner and product management teams to review and implement proposed designs
  • Work with other engineers across the organization to improve processes and tools relied on by hundreds of other developers
  • Work to Agile methodologies as an active member of a Scrum team

Requirements

  • Experience in a software development team
  • First or upper-second class degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience with C++ in a commercial environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with source control systems, such as Git
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment technologies, such as Jenkins
  • Knowledge of scripting and shell environments, such as Python and Bash
  • Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript and web technologies such as React and Redux would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with computational geometry would be an advantage
