Paving Specialist Job Description

Fawkes & Reece South is a leading structural subcontractor based in the Eastbourne area, currently seeking a skilled and experienced Paving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in the construction industry, specifically in surface preparation, material mixing, and installation.

Responsibilities:

  • Surface preparation using various methods, including cleaning, leveling, and priming.
  • Mixing and applying paving materials, ensuring consistent quality and application.
  • Operating paving equipment, including rollers and compactors, to achieve smooth, even surfaces.
  • Working with the team to ensure efficient project completion, meeting deadlines and client expectations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of materials and techniques used in paving, including asphalt, concrete, and aggregate base materials.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
