About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our Plant and Tool Division. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the workshop, including maximizing the availability of plant for hire, allocating and monitoring the workload of the depot Fitters, and ensuring that all equipment is maintained and kept in working order at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must have proven experience working in a senior plant mechanic/fitter role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served.
  • Should have sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Should be able to develop and manage teams within a fast-paced workshop environment.
  • A valid driving license is essential.
