Pioneering Research Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to drive forward-thinking research that improves patient outcomes while collaborating with a world-renowned leader in the pharmaceutical industry.

We are seeking a seasoned Epidemiologist with expertise in Market Access to join our visionary team and take a leading role in crafting healthcare solutions through real-world data and epidemiological research.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development of real-world evidence (RWE) to inform patient access and decision-making for our Prescription Medicine (PM) portfolio.
  • Create and execute epidemiological and outcomes research studies to provide valuable insights into disease burden and treatment landscapes.
  • Design and implement research protocols, conduct data analysis, and contribute to influential publications.
  • Stay current with advancements in RWE methodologies accepted by Health Technology Assessment (HTA) agencies and other key stakeholders.
  • Convert patient access strategies into effective research approaches and compelling payer value messages.
  • Foster collaboration with stakeholders to validate outcomes research methodologies and results, ensuring alignment with payer and HTA expectations.
Necessary Qualifications:
  • A degree in mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, data science, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications (MSc/PhD) in Epidemiology or a related discipline.
  • Experience in outcomes research, epidemiological methods, and medical statistics applied to real-world data.
  • Proficiency in managing and analyzing large datasets using SQL and R (or equivalent tools).
  • Knowledge of statistical methods applied to health economics is desirable.
  • Familiarity with CPRD or equivalent patient-level databases and the UK healthcare system is helpful.
  • Effective communication skills to convey actionable conclusions and stakeholder value messages.

Salary Range: £85,000 per year (£850/day Umbrella)

Work Location: Bracknell (Hybrid 2x a week)

Contract Duration: 6 months initial contract with view to extend
