Baugh House Care Centre in Sidcup is a 60-bed home offering cosy rooms, some with direct access onto our tranquil garden. We promise varied activities to build memories, fostering connections, and celebrating every moment. Whether it's a heartwarming one-to-one or a game of Bingo in the Lounge, we promise a space where every resident finds their own slice of joy.
What does the role involve?
- Assist with the preparation of produce for mealtime service, including cooking breakfast items, vegetable preparation, and making sandwiches.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and kitchen areas are cleaned according to the cleaning schedules, demonstrating your organisational skills.
- Adhere to statutory and Company Health and Safety Regulations.
- Store dry and perishable cook-chill goods correctly after receipt and checking.
- Store cleaning materials safely.
- Thoroughly clean crockery, cutlery, and drinking vessels for residents' use using the main kitchen dishwashing machine.
- Clean and store pots, pans, cooking utensils, and service counter containers to the required standards.
