About the Role:
  • We are seeking a dedicated individual to support students with a range of special educational needs, including those with learning difficulties, autism, sensory impairments, or social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • As a SEND Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive learning environment that enables students to achieve their full potential, academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
  • You will provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND, delivering tailored learning interventions and ensuring lesson content is accessible for all students.
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Assist during non-classroom activities, such as break times and extracurricular sessions.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND in an educational or care setting is essential.
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role are desirable but not essential.
