Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of security principles, experience in applying security protocols, and good knowledge of Health and Safety and Fire Regulations. You will be responsible for actively patrolling, searching bags, and guarding within the Museum estate, maintaining a visible presence at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a professional and proactive security service to ensure the safety and security of the Museum and its visitors.
  • Actively patrol and search bags within the Museum estate.
  • Guard and maintain a visible presence at all times.
  • Respond rapidly and effectively to incident and emergency situations.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to visitors asking for information or directions.

Requirements:

  • SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and punctuality skills.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles and experience in applying security protocols.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety and Fire Regulations.
