About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Senior Automation Expert to join our dynamic team at Actemium Automation Nottingham. As a Senior Automation Expert, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle, assisting the business in creating new tenders, direct sourcing, and working collaboratively with the Project Managers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Direct liaison with customers and internal design/management team
  • Onsite commissioning and testing of control systems while adhering to site regulations
  • Provide technical supervision of system design, build, and installation personnel. Risk assessment: Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Design and testing of control systems in accordance with agreed specifications, applicable standards, and legislative requirements
The Person:
  • Engineering background: degree in Electrical or related field
  • High level of ability to understand and produce control system design documents.
  • Strong understanding of technical project life cycle.
  • Good time management skills, and be able to demonstrate a structured and methodical approach to work
  • Good appreciation of industrial software controls systems
