Public Law Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced litigator to lead our Public Law practice and conduct high-profile casework. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in Public Law and the ability to supervise and mentor junior fee earners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice and manage a caseload involving Public and Regulatory Law;
  • Advising on legal and policy-related issues;
  • Drafting complex legal documentation;
  • Representing clients in conferences and court;
  • Developing and implementing business development strategies to attract new clients in the NGO, Not-For-Profit, and charity sectors;
  • Supervising and mentoring junior fee earners and other staff;
  • Line managing junior fee earners and ensuring the smooth operation of the Public Law practice.
Requirements:
  • Qualified solicitor with rights to practice in England and Wales;
  • Extensive experience in dealing with Public Law-related work, with expertise in Judicial Review;
  • Strong management and leadership skills;
  • Proven supervisory experience and ability to work to key performance indicators;
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to market the firm and generate new business;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a sense of adventure and a proactive approach.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a unique law firm and lead the development of its Public Law practice. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced litigator who is comfortable with supervising others and has a strong track record of success in Public Law.
