About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Support Coordinator to join our dynamic and friendly Care Team at Home Instead. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of outstanding home care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the administration of office tasks while being responsive to the needs of the business.
  • Support the service delivery process by ensuring schedules are built effectively and efficiently around our clients and care professionals.
  • Ensure there is sufficient cover for care assistant absences, sickness, or holidays.
  • Manage client and care professional information on our care planning system.
  • Respond to client and care professional inquiries in a warm, professional, and timely manner.
  • Maintain effective systems to ensure compliance and up-to-date filing and databases.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Care Manager to implement new care packages, including introducing care staff to new clients.
  • Liaise with the Care Manager and Recruitment Officer to ensure sufficient staffing levels for new and existing care packages.
  • Coordinate introductions to clients, competency checks, and support visits for the care team.
  • Support the delivery of a high-quality service through quality assurance telephone calls and visits to clients.
  • Support the recruitment and pre-employment checks for new care professionals.
  • Participate in the On-Call Rota and be willing to deliver care to ensure continuity of services, if required.
  • Perform other duties necessary for the successful operation of the business.
Requirements
  • An SVQ Level 3 Qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
